 Hello Argon Events,

 I and the 2 people I travelled with this year with you, would like to thank you very much for everything, We had a fantastic time at Wacken, and the journey there and back couldn't have been better, the drivers aboard coach 3 were absolute legends and made the journey stress free, unlike when I flew the previous year.

we have decided that we will be using you guys again next year, so as soon as the packages come available we'll be booking ourselves in.

About Us

David Chapman, 10 years a sales executive with the Mars Group, took a redundancy package at the beginning of 1987 and in October of the same year founded Argon Events. In the early days he pushed out in different directions organising Sportsmans Dinners, Horse Racing trips, Corporate Hospitality and one or two concert trips to the NEC in Birmingham. Within 6 months it became apparent that there was a large demand for organised coach trips to concerts and festivals around the country. So much so that within 3 years the Company was turning over £1.5m and had grown to the third largest coach to concert organiser in the UK.

The first venture abroad came in 1989 with Simple Minds in Cologne and a new market was opened. Back in the UK, the Company went through the post Thatcher recession surviving difficult times, only to find that a new culture was on the horizon. With the continued development of new venues around the country with improved facilities, more and more people elected to use their own transport instead of the service provided by Companies such as Argon Events and consequently numbers began to drop, to the point at which the service became largely unviable on a local basis.

As a result  European concerts and festivals have become their bread and butter Events. These packages offer a different kind of value, that of the short break holiday. As Continental Europe becomes more accessible and the economical and cultural barriers barriers reduce, the opportunity to enjoy and explore such beautiful cities as Paris, Amsterdam, Brussels to name just a few, has never been more apparent. Coupled with the strong British Pound, value for money has never been greater.

Argon Events based in North Manchester, celebrate 22 years in Business in 2009. They are bonded with the Government approved Passenger Protection Insurance Scheme (for your financial protection against their insolvency) and hold longstanding and coveted trading accounts with a number of large institutions including Eurostar, P & O, DFDS Seaways to name but a few.
